The existence of God, Matthew`s Gospel, The Passion and Death of Jesus Christ, Reconciliation with God, God`s Greatest Commandment 
 
 
Year 10 
 
 
In Year 10 Religious Education a study of St Mark`s Gospel has been undertaken.  They will have studied sections of work on: - Discipleship (the nature of discipleship, the cost of discipleship, the problems of discipleship) - Conflict and Argument (How and why Jesus came into conflict with authority in Galilee, how and why these conflicts led to betrayal - Death and Resurrection (the last week in the life of Jesus, the death and resurrection of Jesus and their significance for Christians today) - who is Jesus (A study of the titles of Jesus and how they help us to understand the Person of Jesus) 
 
 
Year 11 
 
 
Religious Studies is a two year GCSE course.  Pupils are assessed by means of two external examinations one at the end of Year 10 and one at the end of Year 11.  Each paper awards 50% of the final grade. In Year 11, Unit C, Religion and life based on a study of Catholic Christianity
